Control Room

The Control Room manages and controls all the Terminal’s processes, from the reception of ships, the unloading of LNG at the jetty and its transport to the storage tanks through to its regasification and injection into the pipeline and loading into tanker trucks.

It has a state-of-the-art Distributed Control System (DCS), which brings together all the elements of the operation, control and safety of the Terminal in an automated way. In addition, through the Process Control System (PCS), it serves as the interface between equipment and the operator. If it is necessary to open or close a valve or turn on, turn off or regulate a piece of equipment, the GNL Quintero operator does this from a console in the Control Room.

The Control Room is also equipped with an audiovisual monitoring system that supports the safety and operating systems.
