Ownership of GNL Quintero

GNL Quintero is a corporation whose shareholders are a consortium formed by EIG and Fluxys, togheter with ENAP. They are prestigious companies with a track record in the energy and infrastructure industries.

EIG

EIG is a leading institutional investor to the global energy sector, specialized in private investments in energy and energy-related infrastructure on a global basis. During its 40-year history, EIG has committed over $40.0 billion to the energy sector through more than 380 projects or companies in 38 countries on six continents. EIG’s clients include many of the leading pension plans, insurance companies, endowments, foundations and sovereign wealth funds in the U.S., Asia and Europe. EIG is headquartered in Washington, D.C. with offices in Houston, London, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Hong Kong and Seoul.

Fluxys

Headquartered in Belgium, Fluxys is a fully independent energy infrastructure group with 1,300 employees active in gas transmission & storage and liquefied natural gas terminalling. Through its associated companies across the world, Fluxys operates 12,000 kilometres of pipeline and liquefied natural gas terminals totalling a yearly regasification capacity of 29 billion cubic metres. Among Fluxys’ subsidiaries is Euronext listed Fluxys Belgium, owner and operator of the infrastructure for gas transmission & storage and liquefied natural gas terminalling in Belgium.

ENAP

The National Petroleum Company (ENAP) is owned by the state of Chile. Created in 1950, it has activities throughout the oil industry value chain, from the exploration of hydrocarbons through to the commercialization of fuels.

The company is engaged in exploration and production in Latin America and North Africa. In Chile, its assets include the Aconcagua (V Region), Bío Bío (VIII Region) and Gregorio (XII Region) Refineries as well as refining and logistics assets in the Magallanes Region.
