GNL Quintero’s design, construction and operation are based on the industry’s highest safety standards in order to protect the health and safety of its personnel, contractors, visitors and neighbors.
It has an Integrated Management System (ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001) that allows it to prevent and mitigate the risks of its operation and to monitor different preventive and reactive indicators, thereby protecting the health and safety of people and the surrounding area.

GNL Quintero is committed to the safety of its operations and this is reflected in the implementation of demanding safety and protection standards in both the design of the Terminal and its current operation.
Maintaining the operation’s safety has to do with people as well as the characteristics of the infrastructure. Employees, therefore, receive constant training on safety matters and are actively involved in different preventive programs. In addition, GNL Quintero has an emergency brigade formed by highly qualified and trained personnel.
